PAL Tennis Program

PAL Tennis Program

The Prince George’s Police Athletic League, in partnership with the Junior Tennis Champions Center, is proud to offer the PAL Tennis Program, which provides tennis instruction to youth in the county that otherwise might not be able to experience the game of tennis. The program accepts boys and girls, ages 6 to 10. Children are selected at tryout events held throughout the year. Those who are admitted to the program will receive free beginner level tennis lessons. The program concludes with a graduation ceremony in which police officers and students will play together in friendly competition. Upon graduation, selected youth will be able to continue their tennis training with the JTCC and may be eligible for need based financial aid.

Classes for the Winter semester will run on Sundays beginning on January 27th.  Please do not apply to the program this semester if you are unable to attend these dates.  Children who have previously been enrolled in other JTCC programs are ineligible for PAL Tennis.
